COVENANT CHURCHES: Chair Person:
Purpose: Recruit and nurture the support of churches to be a part of all facets of the affiliate life.
BUILDING/CONSTRUCTION: Chair Person: Edward Knight
Purpose: Responsible for both the construction planning and the implementation of the plan (building houses).
PUBLICITY/COMMUNITY RELATIONS: Chair Person: Shaye Roberson
Purpose: Involves a wide variety of opportunities to encourage individuals and organizations to place Habitat for Humanity on their list of organizations to support. Plans and supports special events. Creates media releases, newsletters, marketing collateral pieces, and web pages that put the spotlight on Habitat's affordable housing successes in the Hemet San Jacinto Valley.
FAMILY SELECTION/FAMILY SUPPORT: Chair Person Pamela Payne
Purpose: Screens applications, interviews prospective families, and recommends families to the board for approval for home ownership.
SITE SELECTION: Chair Person: Wiggs Mendoza
Purpose: Responsible for identifying and recommending property for acquisition to the board. The committee needs members who are willing to look for sites in the city where they live and contact their city officials.
VOLUNTEERS: Coordinated by the Office staff
Purpose: Helps manage and coordinate volunteers matching their skills to construction, committees, and special events.
FUND RAISING MARATHON: Chair Person: Dennis Sondrini
